How does the trial work?
You sign up without payment details and use all features for 14 days. After that the trial ends automatically. If you want to continue, you take out the subscription.
How do I pay?
Monthly by credit or debit card, SEPA Direct Debit or Pay by Bank. Your billing day is the day you subscribed; on that day you receive the invoice by email, and payment is collected a few days later. You can cancel at any time with effect from the end of the current billing month.
Is VAT added on top?
No. The price is a net price, and buchIQ currently does not charge VAT (German small business scheme, § 19 UStG). You pay exactly the amount stated.
What exactly is included in the price?
Everything in the service description: all features, appointments, customers and staff with no quantity limits in the normal operation of one location, plus your homepage: the booking page with business profile, services, prices, team and opening hours, including hosting and SSL.
Is the price per business or per staff member?
Per location, regardless of size or number of staff: whether you have two or twelve staff members, the price stays the same. Chains and businesses with several branches need a separate account with its own homepage for each location.
Do you charge commission on bookings?
No. Whoever books with you is your customer. There is no referral fee and no commission, neither on new customers nor on appointments. You only pay the monthly price.
Is there a minimum term?
No. The subscription runs monthly and can be cancelled at any time without notice to the end of the current billing month, directly in your account. Until then, your access remains fully usable.
Do I need hardware or have to install anything?
No. buchIQ runs in the browser on computer, tablet and smartphone, even on several devices at once. On a phone or tablet you can add buchIQ to your home screen with its own icon.
What happens after the trial?
The trial ends by itself and costs nothing. If you subscribe, you carry on seamlessly with all your data. Otherwise you can download your data as a data package; before anything is deleted, you receive an email with the exact date.
Can I take my data with me?
Yes. After cancelling or after the trial ends, you download your data yourself, free of charge, as a data package: customers, appointments, notes, services and staff as CSV and JSON, plus your photos. During a running subscription we provide it on request.
Is buchIQ only for businesses in Germany?
Yes. buchIQ is aimed at businesses based in Germany; the servers are in Germany too. Your customers can use the booking page in German, English, Turkish or Arabic.
What does “utilisation” mean in buchIQ?
buchIQ compares each staff member’s booked time with their planned working hours from the weekly schedule and rota. You see per week or month, as a percentage, who is fully booked and where there is still capacity, and which services and weekdays are busiest.
Are there SMS or WhatsApp reminders?
Email notifications are included. SMS and WhatsApp may be integrated in the future.
